We bring you not only the laughs on stage, but also the stories behind the comedian. The show brings both renowned and talented upcoming artists from all around the nation to the limelight, stories about the daily happenings and struggles of comics in the industry. This is not your ordinary comedy special, it's "Behind The Comedian".
Season 1
Filmed live at Stand-Up & Rock Comedy Club in Las Vegas
Hosted by Steven Roberts. Features the story behind Mary Upchurch, a comedian who balances a Corporate American job with her comedy career. We also dive into a Las Vegas Headliner Resident, Butch Bradley's comedy journey and how a young navy veteran Michael Robertson became an upcoming young comedian. Get to know Carlos Anthony, a comedian originally from the south, who continues his rise to get to stardom and in this season comedian Jay Reid explains how his versatility plays a big role in his success in comedy career.
Season 2
Filmed live at Wiseguys Comedy Club in Town-Square Las Vegas
Hosted by Butch Bradley. Features the story behind Hailey Brooks, a single mom and used to be sports newscaster turned into comedian. Mike Krasner, one of Las Vegas local favorites, shares his comedic journey. Adam Dominguez talks about the ups and downs of the comedy industry and we get to know Kitty Pineapple a Filipino transgender comedian from Hawaii that's on the rise. We also get to dive into the musical comedic performance of Amir The Amiracle who holds a residency in Las Vegas and in this season we get to learn more on what it takes from Chris Clarke a comedian who is well traveled on land and at sea and a regular performer for The Cellar.
